Our Lady of All Mercy of Pellevoisin

At Pellevoisin, Mary proposes to each person to consecrate themselves to her Son and to wear the scapular of the Sacred Heart.

This glory of Mary is mentioned in the Collect of the Mass in the Mass of the Assumption on 15 August:

“Eternal and almighty God, you who made Mary, the immaculate Virgin, mother of your Son, ascend to the glory of heaven with her soul and body, may we remain attentive to the things above so that we may share in his glory.

But what is this glory of Mary?

Saint John gives us a beautiful light in his Gospel.

John 17, 21-2

“As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory which you have given me, that they may be one, as we are one: I in them and you in me, that they may be made perfect in unity, so that the world may know that you have sent me and loved them as you have loved me. “

Jesus gives the glory that the Father in Heaven has given him so that all may be one.

Thus, the glory of Mary is a participation in the glory of Christ himself, just as the light of the moon reflects the light of the sun.  Let us also add what the Magisterium tells us about the glory of Mary in the proclamation of the Dogma of the Immaculate Conception in 1854: “After having maturely weighed all things, after having poured out before God assiduous and fervent prayers, We thought that it should not be delayed any longer to sanction and define by Our supreme judgment the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin, to satisfy in this way the most pious desires of the Catholic world and Our own piety towards the Blessed Virgin, and at the same time to honour more and more in her the only Son Our Lord Jesus Christ, since all the honour and all the glory that is given to the Mother is given to the Son” (Bull Ineffabilis Deus – 2. the decision – immediate preparation)

Appearances

At Pellevoisin, Mary explicitly asks Estelle 7 times to publish Her Glory.

A message for today

This “Publish my glory” is amazing because it is attached to the Virgin Mary.

The scapular

The scapular of the Sacred Heart reminds us that Mary leads us to the merciful Jesus.
