Pilgrim’s Way
under construction
We invite you to join us on a journey of discovery, both physically (visiting the various sites of the sanctuary) and spiritually (Estelle’s letters, prayers, scapular).
The Montbel cave – Estelle’s letter
In September 1875, Estelle, suffering from an incurable illness, wrote a letter to the Virgin Mary and had it deposited in a Lourdes grotto in the château grounds.
The apparition chamber
It was in this room, then Estelle’s bedroom, that the Virgin Mary appeared to her 15 times, and where she was healed on February 18, 1876.
The statue of Saint-Michel
In the 11th apparition, Our Lady speaks of France four times, with both tenderness and sadness.
Statues of the Sacred Heart and Mary – the scapular
The Sacred Heart scapular: an authentic devotion of Marian piety
The Oratory of the Two Hearts of Jesus and Mary
The Oratory of the Two United Hearts of Jesus and Mary features two frescoes depicting the coronation of Mary and Mary’s apparition to Estelle.
Statue of the Pieta and Way of the Cross
From the statue of the Pieta, you can follow a Way of the Cross towards the esplanade.
The Oratory of the M of Mary
Within the sanctuary’s esplanade, the Oratory of the M of Mary serves as a reminder that Pellevoisin is an important stop on the pilgrimage route proposed by the Association of the M of Mary.
