A Dominican sister, who began her religious life in Pellevoisin, sent us a booklet in English about the apparitions in Pellevoisin, published by the “Sœurs Historiennes de l’Ordre des Prêcheurs”.

CAP 2026 - Renovation of the sanctuary

In anticipation of the jubilee in 2026, the 150th anniversary of the apparitions of the Virgin Mary at Pellevoisin, the Sanctuary has launched a vast renovation project of the entire site, supported by the Diocese of Bourges.
The first stage aims to restructure the chapel of the apparitions, keeping Estelle’s room in its present configuration.
Our project manager is struggling to find all the craftsmen (lack of qualified workers, difficulties in sourcing materials, increased production and energy costs). In this context, we hope to start work next spring.

An appeal for donations has been launched to finance this work.

Scapular: call for testimony

The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith recently proposed to Monsignor Beau that the process of official recognition of the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to Estelle Faguette be re-started. It is therefore necessary to compile a file to give an account of the influence of the sanctuary.

As the scapular is an essential element of the message of the Virgin Mary in Pellevoisin, we would be happy if those who have received the scapular would send us a brief testimony explaining how it supports them in their Christian life.

Mary’s "M": 200 oratories for a new pilgrimage route

On the occasion of the centenary of the proclamation of Mary as the principal patroness of France, the “M” of Mary is launching a new project: to offer Mary a gift by marking out her “M” with a rosary of 200 oratories to make a lasting mark on the territory of France.

This project follows on from the initiative of the motorcyclists in 2015 and that of the young people on bicycles in 2017, 2018 and 2019, who made the 2,000 km pilgrimage between Lourdes, Pontmain, Pellevoisin, Paris and La Salette

The Sanctuary of Notre-Dame de Pellevoisin, the central point of this new pilgrimage route, is a full partner in this beautiful initiative.
